Aerosystems Custom Precision Potentiometers with precision ball bearings and servo flange are suitable for applications where a very long life with very high linearity and precisely mountable sensor is important.

The Precision Potentiometers of Aerosystems Aerospace Series are designed for high demands on accuracy and reliability. They have outstanding linearity and excellent life expectancy. The sensor is available in a high-resistance version for power-saving requirements. Our potentiometers are equipped with a servo flange for precise mounting. In closed loop-controlled systems, conductive plastic potentiometers can be used particularly advantageously. As passive components they do not cause any dead times due to signal propagation and the signal is infinitely available.

AEROYSTEMS turn potentiometers are fully contiuous rotation potentiometers without stopper and are high reliable in offering an excellent quality as well as a prolonged rotating life. There are 2 kinds of resistive elements available in this series: Wirewound and Conductive Plastic elements.

Wirewound and Conductive Plastic elements are respectively contained in an aluminium housing case processed by electrolytic corrosion-proof plating in Silver Color (Wirewound) and Black Color (Conductive Plastic). They are light in weight and small in size as well as of rigid contructions. Selection of any desired item is possible among a variety of standard models, of wich diameters are variable between 12mm and 50mm.

Extra taps (available up to 3 taps), multi-ganged (available up to 7 gangs, housing length is extended by 12mm per 1 gang), shaft with front and rear extension (rear shaft with 6mm dia. and 15mm length), with stopper (rotating angle becomes 320º and stopper strength is 0.9N∙m [9kgf∙cm]), special electrical travel, shaft dia. (ø6.35mm) with inch dimensions, special machining on the shaft.
